Come to Koumkinvi for a 5 day and night guitar workout in all things FOLK!!! The annual guitar retreat set in the wonderful region of Brittany, Northern France is a must for guitarists wanting to delve more into the worlds of folk and roots music. We expect near beginners to more advanced players to sign up, there's something in this inclusive course for everyone!


You'll receive lessons and workshops on subjects like DADGAD, Celtic guitar, Bluegrass, Fiddle-tunes, back up, all time classic folk songs and more. Take part in evening jams, see the local beauty spots on group excursions! Also as an added coup, BBC Radio 2 Folk Award nominee and banjo supremo Dan Walsh will be giving a banjo course alongside the guitar retreat so expect some amazing group jams and sessions (and banjo jokes) during the week! The venue is a 30 minute drive from the port of Roscoff, easily accessible from the UK via Brittany Ferries, by rail and air.
